Chapter I: Echoes in the Abyss

"The air hangs heavy in the dankness of the cavern.
What long forgotten secrets lay watching in these walls?
Onward with caution, blending into the silence.
Echoes arise from the eternal abyss—an unwelcome greeting."

Chapter II: The Sorcerer's Wager

"Fingers brushing against the cold wet walls,
A guide through the darkness, but to what destination?
Each turn more disorienting, a labyrinth with no end, no reason
This Labyrinth, begotten of the mind of its maker,
Beholds all who wander to the Sorcerer’s Wager."

Chapter III: Forsaken Oaths

"At the center of this Labyrinth, allegiance is made only to self.
How can loyalty be held where there is no mind to hold it?
An enchantment hangs heavy as an iron veil,
Stealing reason from minds, bond from brothers.
Place kinship on the altar and set it aflame!"

Chapter IV: The Only Way Out Is Through

"Alone with fear, all senses of mind fall dull.
Where is hope found when the light behind grows dim?
Bred from birth to fight and mine, there is only one thing to do;
For the Dwarven Warrior cornered in the cavern, the only way
out is through."

Chapter V: The Wizard's Secret

"Wall by wall, the labyrinth falls.
The enchanter’s trick forfeits it’s grip.
Reclaimed minds ignite anew oaths of the past.
Beneath their feet the cavern stirs.
Carried on the wind, the echoes return.
A shadowed form born from their song emerges
Neither blade nor hand can pierce the bodiless;
The Shadow grows to shroud all in darkness.
This fate now known only by the ones to whom it was given
“Take this secret to your grave, lest your grave find you early.”
No one to speak it, no one may share, the weight of the Wizard’s
Secret."

Chapter VI: At the Bottom of Emptiness

"Regaining strength, broken, but not brought to ruin
With every step forward is worthiness proven
The forgotten touch of tree breathed air
Shadow dissolves as though it was never there
Hope uncovers her merciful face

At a cost is respite won
For the Wizard’s Secret spares no one."

A dreamy, beguiling, nostalgic dungeon synth quest through the shires. But, it's so much more than that. The LP incorporates some unique key changes, field recordings and a lot of Mort Garson style synth work. It sometimes reminds me of old 70's PG horror soundtracks. The record is addictive melancholy inspiration. The ideal music for accompanying the dawning morning of an epic adventure. brantly

My favorite out of the three I believe.The sound is more aggressive and fits the cover art of what looks like a perilous journey for the protagonist. Fits well at being the second in the trilogy of albums. Every song is good and the cassette tape and package is of good quality. A Great buy that deserves a vinyl edition. Joshua Laleina
